About
I am a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor (RTDB) in Statistics for Social Science at the University of Naples Federico II, Department of Economics and Statistics. I hold a Ph.D. in Statistics (2015) from the same university, with a thesis on document clustering validation techniques.
My research activity focuses on quantitative methods for text and data analysis, with a particular emphasis on computational approaches to social science and bibliometrics. I am part of the development team of bibliometrix, an open-source R package for quantitative research in scientometrics and bibliometrics, and a member of the academic spin-off K-Synth.
Since 2024, I have been a permanent member of the Scientific Committee of the International Conference on Statistical Analysis of Textual Data (JADT). I am currently involved in two PRIN 2022 national research projects focused on the evaluation of Academic Health Science Centres.
